Humble Beginnings For Catering & Exhibition

Sheet metal is the heart of what we do but we originally came from an automotive background. We always shared a love for good food and late in 2016 we decided to combine our passion with our skillset.

Summer of June 2016, where the H van journey all began. After seeing an advert on car and classic of a collection of 4 vans the idea to turn these into foodtrucks was just too tempting. We boarded a flight to Carcosonne France and done the deal.

After a year of building we saw a gap in the market for a long wheel base food truck, The development of the first all steel citroen hy long wheel base van was here.

With our automotive and racing background 2017 saw the The first citroen goes out the door powered with Ford 2.0Litre Zetec engine , disc brakes and power steering. Unheard of in the vintage food truck scene this is where orders started rolling in.

Over a year in and we finally perfected our food vans. With jigs, Cad models, and reproduction parts.

Our first developed long wheel base van (7 months in the making) is in paint and our first international van ships to the USA

As orders ramp up for the longwheel base we needed to cut down manual labour and production time. We developed our own fibreglass moulds for a long wheel base van. Cutting production time on a body from 4 weeks to 7 days ! This was the start to a great relationship with fibreglass supplier Chris.

With multiple units a month out the door, we set up our own dedicated stainless steel shop to make our beautiful kitchens.

Having been building running driving Citroens for 3 years the idea vs reality to using a vintage van for catering and long distance events is miles apart. The majority of vans end up on a trailer being towed to events. So the trailer concept is born. All the looks with almost zero maintenance. The replica mould is started !

Large corporate brands start asking us to build trucks for promotional and large events. Whilst numbers are becoming high we strive to still deliver consistent well thought out spaces and fulfilling top end finishes.

The demand globally for vintage looking vehicles of all forms increases and we expand into all different areas from VW camper vans to Vintage step Vans.

After a year and a half in development making sure we get release angles correct and still maintaining every quirky design aesthetic of the citroen h we finally release our first pod out of the mould

A year into Covid restrictions the demand for off grind and inland travel becomes apparent. We set our skills to design a modular habitation box for expedition and overland travelling.

Hooray ! Now 2 years on our first demo replica vehicle is sussed out and ready to start selling into our customers.

Our trailer attracts attention ! An investor sees potential in the expansion of our Replica trailers !. We agree to concentrate on ramping up production whilst they handle sales and admin.

8 Months of delivering the replica trailers to some of our most important clients worldwide and navigating our way through uncertain times with Brexit, material price hikes, parts import difficulties we split ways with our investor. The plans to continue building modular trailer concepts and delivering great products continue.

The Long wheel base CItroen HY Replica trailer is now fully CAD designed and ready to go into production.
